- Conduct thorough safety inspections and evaluations of dam structures.
- Lead the planning, design, and development of project plans tailored to meet regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and contract documentation for construction projects.
- Oversee construction inspections of dynamic dam initiatives to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Extensive knowledge in hydrology and hydraulics; experience with permitting is advantageous.
- Expertise in geotechnical foundations, structural concrete, and earth embankment design.
- Familiarity with FERC dam safety regulations and both state and federal compliance standards.
- Proficiency in client engagement, effective communication, and construction cost estimation.
- AutoCAD skills are highly desirable.
- PE licensure in VT or NH, or the ability to obtain it within 6-12 months.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced technical coursework is preferred.
