Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and evaluations of existing dam structures.
- Lead the planning, design, and development of dam engineering projects.
- Prepare and oversee technical specifications and contract documentation.
- Supervise construction activities and inspections on various dam projects.
- Demonstrated experience in hydrology and hydraulics; knowledge of permitting processes is advantageous.
- Strong technical proficiency in geotechnical foundations, structural concrete, and earth embankments.
- Familiarity with FERC dam safety design criteria and relevant state and federal regulations.
- Excellent client engagement, communication, and construction cost estimation abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is desirable.
- Possession of a VT or NH PE license, or the capability to secure one within 6-12 months.
- B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S. or advanced technical coursework preferred.
- Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in dam engineering or a closely related field.
