Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and assessments for dam projects.
- Engage in the design and development of comprehensive dam plans.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and contract documentation.
- Supervise construction inspections to ensure project quality and compliance.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Technical knowledge in geotechnical/foundations, structural concrete, and earth embankments.
- Relevant experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and permitting is advantageous.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced technical coursework is preferred.
- Approximately 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- VT or NH Professional Engineer (PE) certification, or the capacity to obtain it within 6-12 months.
