Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive operational and project management support to the Regional Director
- Manage and technically develop a wide array of civil projects, with a strong focus on municipal and industrial water and wastewater
- Cultivate business opportunities and foster client relationships
- Lead project teams in the preparation of conceptual, preliminary, and final designs, while overseeing project progression through construction
- Ensure work quality, client coordination, and the daily operational aspects of assigned projects meet established standards
- Prepare regulatory permit applications for a diverse range of projects
- Develop proposals, define scopes of work, and create project schedules that align with deadlines and budgetary constraints
- Mentor and train junior engineers on diverse project assignments
- Collaborate with other team members to share accountability within the division
- Proficiency in civil engineering principles
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
- Effective project team management skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Civil or Environmental P.E. license in Vermont or the ability to obtain licensure by reciprocity
- Familiarity with Vermont sector clients and regulations
- Prior experience in leadership and project management roles
