What You’ll Do

As the Head of Product at Nirvana, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product initiatives. In this role, you will lead a team of product managers and designers to develop innovative tools that empower care providers, reduce operational inefficiencies, and transform the healthcare industry.

This is a highly cross-functional position that sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, marketing, and user experience. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be instrumental in scaling Nirvana’s offerings while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Develop The Strategy

  • Define, communicate, and execute a visionary product strategy and roadmap for both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and B2B healthcare solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and strategy teams to align product initiatives with business goals and user needs.
  • Continuously assess market opportunities, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to refine product strategies.
  • Champion a data-driven, hypothesis-based, experimentation driven culture that continuously tests and learns in a truly cross functional way.

Execute The Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
  • Harness a deep understanding of enterprise partners (digital health companies, practices, EHRs, etc), users (billers), and the insurance industry to gather feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and advocate for customer and user needs.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to instill a results-driven culture using OKRs and metrics to measure success.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to craft impactful product launches and growth initiatives.
  • Leverage customer feedback and data to inform product decisions and continuous improvements.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and its contribution to business outcomes.
  • Understand the product and customer data better than anyone. Develop processes to communicate and educate the company on lessons learned and data insights.

Empower The Team

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers and designers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Build and scale a high-performing team, identifying new roles and capabilities needed to support Nirvana’s mission.
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity within cross-functional teams.

What We're Seeking

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8 years of product management experience with a strong track record of driving strategy and development for both D2C and B2B products in fast-paced environments. Experience with both successes and failures is valued—lessons learned from challenges are just as important as wins!
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of scaling a product into a product line, growing a team, and achieving 10x ARR growth—ideally in an early-stage (Series A) startup environment.
  • Leverage your experience in delivering user-focused products to gather market-driven insights and support the CEO and leadership team in shaping the company’s strategic direction.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in leveraging data and user research to drive product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a history of working effectively across diverse teams.
  • Take ownership of one or more product workstreams, driving hands-on delivery from conception to execution.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen by identifying and prioritizing opportunities to address critical business needs and achieve Nirvana’s objectives, both internally and externally.
  • Master product and customer data to uncover actionable insights. Build and implement processes to share key lessons and educate the company on data-driven opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading product teams at early-stage or high-growth companies, including recruiting and mentoring diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
  • A customer-obsessed mindset, with a knack for uncovering insights through research, prototyping, and user testing.
  • A passion for driving innovation in healthcare or related industries.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, business case development, and organizational design.
