Minimum Qualifications
- Must be available to work Monday - Friday between hours of 2:00 pm-6:30 pm (Elementary campuses)
- High School Diploma or Accredited GED
- Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check prior to starting employment
- Must have minimum of 6 months experience working with youth in public schools, church related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day care centers or other approved settings OR minimum 6 months supervisory experience
Essential Functions
- Assist Program Specialist with the supervision of staff (Youth Leaders) and the Learning Tree program at a designated campus.
- Conduct site observations of Youth Leaders to ensure that daily schedule is delivered and program expectations are met.
- Help plan and participate in academic enrichment and recreational activities.
- Ensure program records, reports, and other paperwork are maintained and prepared.
- Prepare student discipline and incident reports maintain documentation, and maintain student confidentiality.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Maintain emotional control under stress. Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job. Lifts 5-10 lbs. frequently, 10-50 lbs. occasionally and more than 50 lbs. infrequently. Moderate running, walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting. Subject to visual acuity, speech/hearing, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform the essential functions. Work indoors and outdoors in varying climate conditions. May be required under special circumstances to provide physical restrain of students in danger of causing harm to themselves and others.
