Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.
Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist shall ensure the optimal functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety through planned maintenance inspections (PMI).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Shall use AF Form 332, Base Civil Engineer Work Request, and Microsoft (MS) office to initiate and document repairs, deficiencies, alterations, and new construction.
- Coordinate support functions (such as vendors, custodial, security, fire, safety, health and environmental, and network infrastructure).
- Verify projects are in compliance with building codes, regulations, and life safety standards.
- Shall maintain and update documents and records using automated systems.
- Shall serve as the energy conservation monitor.
- Shall maintain key control. Keys that are not assigned to specific individuals shall not be removed from the installation without approval from the COR.
- Shall respond to fire department or security forces emergency calls to the Killey Center.
- Shall be a liaison to the COR for the custodial contract within the Killey Center.
- Shall liaise between the 325th FW and AFNORTH/AFSPACE regarding facility issues.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to analyze complex data and situations, and provide clear, actionable insights.
- Strong capability to identify problems, think critically, and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams or cross-functional environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in facility management to meet this requirement.
- US citizen
- Must have a Secret clearance
