Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Handles calls on an on-call basis where immediate assistance is required.
- Able to independently troubleshoot and provide solutions to customers, escalating issues to the Deputy Project Manager and Delivery Manager when required.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and updates in the ticketing system in compliance with established procedures.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding the status of critical issues or incidents.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Minimum 4 years experience providing Tier 3 application helpdesk support
- Experience with Privileged User Management Program (PUMP), Windows, Networks, BMC Remedy, BMC Smart Reporting, and Oracle.
- Ability to work non-standard hours/overnight on-call.
- Public Trust (Tier 2 Investigation)
- Knowledge of US Coast Guard operations, policies, or federal government processes is a plus.
