About the Role
Nisolo is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a driven and passionate Retail Store Lead who is eager to embody the core values of Nisolo and create an exceptional in person shopping experience for our customers. The primary responsibility of this role is to own and manage the day to day responsibilities of the Nashville Showroom. This includes but is not limited to inventory management, traffic driving initiatives, and management of retail team performance.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the networking and recruiting process to periodically onboard people who are passionate about customer experience.
- Oversee inventory management, including: receiving and processing inventory, processing returns, restocking and destocking, ensuring proper inventory levels of key styles, and season product turnover in the store.
- Oversee cleanliness of all areas of the store including back-of-house and front-of-house. Implement visual guidelines and maintain store appearance.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for shoppers to ask questions, and learn about our products and brand.
- Oversee POS and product training for new retail hires.
- Plan and execute creative traffic driving events and initiatives for the store on a quarterly basis.
- Utilize the store Instagram account to engage the local community and drive traffic to the store by understanding the brand’s style, copy, and storytelling.
- Utilize all available resources to improve performance and to further educate yourself and your sales team.
- Own and execute seasonal Warehouse Sales working cross functionally with the internal team and the retail team to optimize sales in this avenue.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects: work prioritization, planning, task delegation and hitting deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
- Strong writing and speaking skills.
- 2 years of relevant retail experience or customer facing work. Management or store lead experience preferred.
- Passion for sustainable fashion and drive to educate staff and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strengths in problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Ability to own one’s environment and resolve issues in real time.
- Willingness to learn. We want a team member who is humble, hungry and smart (in that order)
- Knowledge of Shopify is a plus but not necessary.
Compensation: $21 / hour
Timing: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Only candidates who pass through to the interview round will be contacted. The goal hire date for this role is Q3 2022.
Schedule: This person will be expected to work Tuesday - Saturday at our Nashville Store and HQ during business hours.
