GENERAL SUMMARY
The Dispensing Nurse Manager supervises staff designated to administer medications as ordered by medical providers and maintain accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed. The Nurse Manager Is responsible for safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy. Must maintain professional standards and follow the treatment policies of the Nisqually Generations Healing Center as well as Federal and State laws and regulations.
This position ensures confidentiality, security, and accuracy of records, and promotes positive employee, customer, and community relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding customer service to fellow employees, customers, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, later hours or weekend time may be required, and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the dispensary nurses' administration of Methadone or Buprenorphine/Naloxone or Mono Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex) as ordered by the Medical Director and staff
- Responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and
- Supervises the administering of breath alcohol testing, reading test results as needed; ensures accurate completion of all forms Involved in these
- Conducts assessment of patients' physical condition, reporting observations to providers either verbally or in writing.
- In collaboration with staff providers, coordinates the outpatient detoxification and treatment services to people addicted to
- Records all Inter-agency communications relating to the patient in a timely

- Maintains the list of Incarcerated patients and coordinates all jail dosing
- Creates and maintains all administrative requirements for Internal
- Trains, mentors, and assists the dispensary nursing staff in their professional
- Maintains schedules for dispensary nurses, ensuring adequate coverage is provided during all hours of
- Supervises dispensary staff and assures survey compliance daily. Provides guidance and support to staff to better plan
- Oversee the inventory and tracking of methadone and buprenorphine for the Outpatient Treatment Program (OTP), as well as supplies required for the
- Assists with the development and Implementation of nursing policies and
- Ensure security and confidentiality of all program data and operate in accordance with applicable regulations of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Part

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Washington.
- Five years' experience of professional work as a Nursing Supervisor is
- Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the minimum requirements established by Nisqually Indian Tribes vehicle insurance provider.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background

- Must pass a state and national (FBI) criminal history background check prior to employment.
