JOB SUMMARY: As a representative of the Nisqually Red Wind Casino Guest Service Attendant Team, ambassadors will deliver exceptional guest service while interacting with players on the gaming floor. Ambassadors will assist with any guest services related matters, explaining Club Membership benefits, Rewards Club and Casino Host programs, and promotional activities.
Assists with promotions and events while providing support in other marketing tasks, such as maintaining cleanliness, reporting safety hazards, collecting hurdle ideas, and collaborating with all operational teams to meet service standards. Assists the casino host program with issuing comps, making reservations, and conducting guest contacts when needed. Using host CRM applications to provide service to our high-frequency and high-worth guests.
Requirements
Required skills and knowledge:
- Six months of guest service experience, volunteer experience may be considered for this requirement.
- Excellent guest service skills and possess a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
- Ability to safeguard confidential information.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of operating basic office equipment.
- Demonstrates honesty in the workplace.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- At least 1 year related experience in front line guest contact position.
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- 6 months related gaming experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stoop, reach, squat, push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork.
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Provides excellent guest service, in a busy, fast-paced casino environment.
- Reviews and is responsible for understanding and being able to explain rules, policies and procedures related to the Red Wind Rewards program and all promotions.
- Assists in solving player issues and directing guests to the appropriate departments/individuals for resolution.
- Assists gaming departments in coordinated activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy.
- Understand functionality of all Casino Floor electronic services and educate guests on how to use these services- Promotional Kiosks, Enrollment/Card Printing Kiosk, Check Cashing Kiosk, ATM/Ticket Redemption Kiosks.
- Assists with special events and promotions as directed or assigned.
- Assist guest at slot machines to access entries for promotional drawings and assisting guests with accessing and downloading free play and points on slot machines.
- Conduct gaming promotions and drawings.
- Make public announcements.
- Responsible for taking pictures of jackpot winners as well as obtaining and maintaining release forms for all winners to be used in promotional media.
- Assist Casino Host Team in making decisions regarding comps based on a consideration of recorded play, earned points, comp availability, and guest profitability
- Provides guests with hospitality arrangements, including reservations, food, beverages, and other special requests.
- Increase carded play among guests by finding opportunities to sell Club Red Membership to uncarded players.
- Manage a book of business assigned to the group of Ambassadors and further develop that segment of players to become hosted players
- Use the host CRM applications to find specific guests on the floor to greet and provide host services to.
- Perform telemarketing duties to the casino VIP players to invite to special events, dinners, and other onsite/offsite casino happenings.
- Man All VIP Lounges, Offices, And Other Areas Where VIP Service Is Expected By High-Value Players.
- Provides assistance to the Marketing department and supports Casino Hosts as needed
- Maintain accurate and compliant Title 31 records.
- Manage multi-line phone system.
- Greet bus groups at the main door and escort them to the Rewards Club while explaining Club benefits and Casino happenings.
- Provides professional representation at internal and external meetings and events, including off site VIP events, concerts and other.
- Assists in decorating gaming floor and other venues for promotional events as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Assist in keeping gaming floor clean- pushing in chairs, collecting trash for disposal, emptying ash trays, etc.
- Escorting guests for age verification- as requested by Security.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
