JOB SUMMARY: Maintain good guest service relations. Follow departmental policy and procedures by enforcing casino game rules. Conduct a variety of casino games according to casino operations procedures and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards.
- Knowledge of casino promotions.
- Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
- Conduct the dealing of table games according to department procedures.
- Handle guest transactions for buy-ins and payoffs.
- Verify fills and credits to game.
- Notify Floor Supervisor of any irregularities noted in guest play and of other transactions during shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required skills and knowledge:
- Satisfactory completion of Red Wind Casino dealing class or approved equivalent.
- Knowledge of Title 31.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and guests.
- Basic math skills.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- Ability to deal all NRWC card games.
- Ability to deal Roulette.
- Ability to deal Craps.
- 1 year of experience in a front-line guest service position.
- Table games experience or training in specialty area.
- Cash handling experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for assigned shift.
- Manual and finger dexterity.
- Ability to stoop which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Infrequently requires crouching.
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke filled environment.
