POSITION OBJECTIVE: Oversee front of house food, beverage and retail operations and Team

Requirements
QUALIFICAIONS:
Required skills and knowledge:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- 4 years accredited courses in retail/business or applicable hospitality/experience may be substituted for education requirements.
- 5 years’ experience as an effective manager in a high-volume multi-venue food operation.
- Experience in managing food costs, analyzing data, and developing plans to maximize financial efficiencies of restaurant operations.
- Must have a valid Driver License and Driver’s abstract must not contain any disqualifying events per the NRWC Safe Driver Policy.
- Experience in problem solving.
- Experience in writing, following, and coaching of food preparation instructions.
- Training and understanding in sanitation laws, procedures and compliance.
- Food Handler’s Permit.
- Class 12 Mixologist Permit.
- Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience operating and programing POS system and food management software systems, including inventory management.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred Skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge in all aspects of fine dining, quick service and casual dining and alcoholic beverage service
- Experience opening new venues or restaurants.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time and move from area to area in the kitchen.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
- Required to be able to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
- Manual finger dexterity for computer use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Directs day to day operations of the front of house casino restaurants.
- Provides input to the F&B Director regarding overall policy and procedures related to the restaurant operations.
- Oversees restaurant operations to make sure quality service, presentation, cleanliness, and guest service standards are met.
- Ensures proper training is provided for guest service and food production principles and practices.
- Analyze data and makes recommendations for operational improvements.
- Oversees compliance with all regulations regarding health and safety issues for both Team Members and guests.
- Promotes excellent guest relations.
- Functions as a “hands on” working manager.
- Responsible for overseeing front of house scheduling in all casino restaurant venues carefully balancing efficiency and guest service standards.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and developing of front of house team members and supervisors.
- Ensures set up of banquet service for meeting rooms.
- Actively researching & pursuing industry trends and making recommendations for implementation.
- Actively pursues strategic objectives and goals toward the company mission and vision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
