Job Summary
The responsibilities of a Service Technician include performing diagnostics, repairs, and other routine maintenance on various vehicle makes and models.
Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be kept informed.
Provide estimates of time and parts, as needed, for additional repairs.
Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Nissan Certified Technician or similar role is required.
ASE Certification and Nissan Certification is required.
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
