Automotive Service Advisor / Writer Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive attitude and a team atmosphere.
- Maintain TOP tier customer satisfaction ratings, we'll teach you how.
- Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner.
- Obtain customer and vehicle information in order to adequately write up customer's concerns. Set clear expectations of repair timeline.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
- Act as a liaison between customers and technicians providing excellent communication between all parties.
- Gather information provided from customer, technicians, and parts staff to create clear and accurate repair estimates for customer approval.
- Contacts customers regarding status of customer repairs and keeps them well informed of any potential changes in the estimate or repair timeline.
- Review work performed with customer and do final quality check of all details before collecting payment and returning vehicle to customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
