Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our dealership lot, ensuring that vehicles are properly displayed and ready for customer viewing. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including washing and detailing vehicles as needed.
• Drive vehicles to and from various locations within the dealership premises.
• Assist customers by providing information about vehicle availability and features.
• Ensure that all vehicles are parked in designated areas and are easily accessible for customers and staff.
• Perform basic inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good condition for display.
• Handle cash transactions accurately when assisting with customer payments at the cash register.
• Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate vehicle deliveries and pickups.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting customers with their needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
• Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on hospitality and creating positive experiences for clients.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for handling cash transactions effectively.
• Experience as a delivery driver or valet parking attendant is advantageous for driving responsibilities.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required to operate dealership vehicles safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
