What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Parts Counterperson position at Nissan of Redlands?
Nissan of Redlands parts department is continuing to grow and is looking for a qualified Parts Consultant to join the team. As a parts consultant you will be assisting customer and service staff in person and over the phone by answering questions and filling orders accurately and promptly. We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated and driven for success. The ideal candidate will have an automotive parts retail/wholesale experience and have strong customer service skills, communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
· Answer income calls, monitor vendor orders and complete the orders accurately in a timely manner.
· Perform inventory counts and other parts department function set forth by the parts manager.
· Fill orders, input all sales into inventory system, identify lost sales.
· Receive order, place parts in correct bin locations and update inventory system.
· Assist customers and service determent personal with fulfilling orders and return request.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following set guidelines.
· Complete and stay current on all training set forth by manufacture to improve product knowledge and customer service.
· Meet or exceed set goals and help increase department profit
· Explore new wholesale business opportunities.
Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of 2 year of part consultant experience. Dealership experience and PLUS
· Excellent communication and customer service skill.
· Inventory control experience.
· Self-motivated and goal oriented.
· Professional appearance and strong work ethics.
· Self-starter and the ability to work independently.
· Reynold and Reynolds experience a PLUS
· Must have a valid CA driver’s license and successfully pass a background check.
