Lube and Tire Technician

Nissan of Redlands is high volume dealer in San Bernadino County is looking for a Lube and tire Technicians to Join the team. As Entry Lube technician and tire technician you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance service, mounting and balancing tires and performing vehicle inspections according to dealer and factory standards.  The right candidate will be offered ongoing training and the opportunity to advance with in the dealership.

Responsibilities:

·         Perform vehicle services as outlined by the work order.

·         Perform vehicle inspections, document and notify service advisor of findings.

·         Provide labor and parts estimate for additional services identified by performing inspection.

·         Accurately document all work that were performed.

·         Communicate with team leads, advisors, and the service managers and follow direction.

·         Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and work area, while performing service or repairs

·         Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules.

·         Complete and stay current on all training set forth by manufacture to improve product knowledge and customer service.

Qualification:

·         Must have automotive knowledge (minimum 1-year automotive dealership or aftermarket shop experience)

·         Willingness to learn.

·         Detail oriented.

·         Professional appearance and strong work ethics

·         Self-motivated and goal oriented.

·         Must have a valid CA driver’s license and successfully pass a background check.
