We are currently looking for a Security Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN. The Security Manager (Non-Manufacturing), US and Canada, leads the physical security and product security functions for Nissan's non-manufacturing locations within the US and Canada. This role has oversight of security officer staffing at Nissan's non-manufacturing locations across the US and Canada and is responsible for physical security standards at all non-manufacturing locations.

We are currently looking for a Security Manager to join our team in Franklin, TN. The Security Manager (Non-Manufacturing), US and Canada, leads the physical security and product security functions for Nissan's non-manufacturing locations within the US and Canada. This role has oversight of security officer staffing at Nissan's non-manufacturing locations across the US and Canada and is responsible for physical security standards at all non-manufacturing locations.
A Day in the Life:
- Manage non-manufacturing site security programs using personal expertise and staff resources to ensure protection of company assets, the safety of our employees, and Nissan's reputation. Standardize physical security systems and equipment using a validated baseline.
- Develop and maintain security assessments, procedures and emergency response programs to assure the safety of personnel, facilities, materials, and equipment. Implement and manage a physical security framework to include the physical security controls included in the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Cyber Security Framework
- Oversee Nissan's Executive Protection and Confidential Product Security activities in the USA and Canada.
- Lead and/or coordinate the investigation of major thefts and threats of violence in the workplace to ensure the protection of Nissan's people, assets, and reputation.
- Evaluate the existing US and Canada security program for efficiencies, make recommendations for process improvements, and oversee implementation of approved recommendations.
Who We're Looking for:
- 10 plus years of specifically related physical security experience. Program management of security operations is strongly preferred
- 10 plus years minimum combined experience in corporate security, law enforcement, threat intelligence, and/or investigations. Experience in the manufacturing sector preferred.
- Demonstrated experience effectively leading responses to security incidents, monitoring of assets and communicating to senior leadership.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) is strongly preferred
