Nisshinbo Automotive Manufacturing Inc is currently hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the supervising and facilitating the maintenance department in respect to the repair, inspection, installation and general maintenance of the production equipment. This position will work closely with manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervises maintenance functions by monitoring all manufacturing related equipment and machine molds; by managing all new and replacement machine parts; by inspecting and controlling pollution prevention equipment including corresponding with appropriate governmental agencies as necessary; by improving production efficiency in cooperation with the manufacturing department; by leading staff in troubleshooting all problems in a timely manner to ensure smooth operation; and by completing special projects as requested.
- Implements procedures by assisting in the development of preventative maintenance programs; by interpreting and enforcing company policies and procedures; and answering related questions for staff; by implementing new procedures to improve operations , minimize operating costs; and ensure the efficient use of resources; and by recommending improvements to procedures as necessary.
- Supervises staff by providing direction and delegating responsibility to subordinate staff ; by evaluating work performed by subordinate staff ; by training staff when necessary; by providing subordinate staff with regular feedback; by conducting performance appraisals ; and by contributing to employment decision promotions, salary adjustment s termination.
- Keeps management informed by participating in meetings ; and by reporting problems to management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
- Performs general administrative duties by writing and distributing reports and other correspondence; by distributing mail and faxes when necessary; by accurately filing and maintaining documents ; by making copies; and by performing other administrative duties as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,148.29 - $74,101.48 per year
