What you know
We are looking for a Product Manager Transportation Systems to support a major retail client with a robust multichannel distribution network. This role will focus on optimizing transportation operations through advanced technology solutions including but not limited to the ProShip transportation management system (TMS).
As a Product Manager Transportation Systems you will play a critical role in managing and enhancing transportation technology solutions for a leading retail organization with a strong eCommerce and brickandmortar presence. You will work closely with supply chain logistics IT and operations teams to ensure seamless shipping and delivery experiences leveraging ProShip TMS and other relevant platforms.
What youll do
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Transportation Management System ensuring its effective implementation integration and optimization.
Own the transportation technology roadmap aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
Identify opportunities to enhance shipping speed cost efficiency carrier integrations among others within the transportation ecosystem.
Drive initiatives from inception to golive and production support
CrossFunctional Collaboration :
Work closely with supply chain logistics engineering and IT teams to define business requirements develop features and prioritize initiatives.
Partner with various stakeholders from operations vendors and business to ensure smooth execution of transportation solutions.
Collaborate with data analytics teams to track key performance metrics drive insights and support datadriven decisionmaking.
Process Improvement & Optimization :
Drive continuous improvements in transportation processes by leveraging TMS capabilities automation and analytics.
Identify and implement solutions to reduce shipping costs improve carrier selection and enhance customer delivery experiences.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and retail industry best practices in shipping and transportation.
