Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment in designated areas.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Support the team during busy periods by assisting with bussing tables and catering events as needed.
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
