What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waiter position at Nitallys ThaiMex?
Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and workstations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
Experience
- Previous experience as a server or in the restaurant industry is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food safety guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
