About the role:
The Account Executive is a key member of the Niterra sales team, responsible for managing and growing relationships with assigned automotive customers. This role involves developing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the automotive industry and excellent communication skills.
Your Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key automotive customers, acting as their primary commercial point of contact.
- Respond to customer RFQs, developing winning quotations, commercial models, and strategies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and other commercial considerations for new and existing business.
- Forecast sales and develop planning materials, incorporating industry trends and customer insights.
- Coordinate annual customer productivity requests and manage PGM adjustments.
- Utilize Niterra software tools (SAP, BI) to track sales data, analyze performance, and generate reports.
- Advocate for assigned customers' needs and Niterra USA's position in communications with global Niterra facilities.
- Manage product changeovers and part number changes to minimize dead stock and premium freight costs.
- Structure and negotiate commercial claims related to obsolete stock, premium freight, and other extraordinary costs.
- Review and coordinate approvals for key documents (quotations, agreements, etc.) before customer distribution.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, QMS, J-Sox, and Safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management) and customer functions.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive industry preferred.
- Proven negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
