About The Role
The Sales Support Coordinator will provide critical support for sales and customer operations. This includes analyzing market data and coordinating with global teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as experience in the automotive industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Support local and global RFQ activities with analysis of the business and creation of commercial models (i.e. analysis of price reduction, profitability/revenue, and market share)
- Assist in completion of sales forecast (long term and monthly) as directed and perform analysis of data as necessary.
- Create and maintain internal reference documents for global customer applications, customer footprint, and customer engine/vehicle lifecycles
- Create supporting documentation for presentations for management reporting, meetings, conferences as necessary
- Regularly audit and maintain customer pricing and initiate changes as necessary
- Create customer Credit and Debit Memos in SAP
- Assist SSCII with daily tasks and serve as backup as needed
- Initiate internal approval workflows for material master changes and customer master changes
- Engage in direct communications with local departments, Niterra HQ in Japan, and other global Niterra facilities
- Utilize customer websites and other software tools
- Review third party content and/or participate in conferences to gain knowledge and take that into account when creating forecasts and planning materials
- Create and distribute customer related information as needed and provide knowledge transfer on industry, forecast, trends etc. as discovered. This may be done through meetings, bulletins or e-mail
- Support product start and end of production internal process activities, including change overs and D-project activities through the aftermarket.
- Collect and archive key customer documents for internal review and reference
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949 and J-Sox related policies as applicable
- Associate's degree in business or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years of administrative or customer support experience
- 1 year of experience in the automotive industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
