About the role:
We're seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Territory Manager to develop territories and grow our relationships with key accounts in the automotive aftermarket. This role is crucial to our continued success, and you'll play a vital part in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence.
What You'll Do:
- Prospecting: identify and engage with potential new customers to create sales opportunities.
- Drive Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand business within key accounts. This includes managing promotions, optimizing inventory, and identifying new opportunities.
- Provide Expertise: Offer technical knowledge and support to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits of Niterra products.
- Market & Promote: Create and implement marketing plans tailored to key accounts, maximizing sales potential. Participate in trade shows and other industry events.
- Collaborate & Support: Work closely with the National and Key Account teams, as well as headquarters, on special projects and initiatives. Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to the sales and marketing teams.
- Report & Analyze: Prepare regular reports, including monthly sales forecasts, and analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Train & Educate: Assist in developing and delivering training programs for shop owners, counter persons, and technicians, enhancing their product knowledge and sales skills. Keep customers informed about new products and product lines
- Own the Relationship: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with assigned key accounts, becoming their trusted advisor.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety, IATF16949, and J-SOX.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales and/or marketing within manufacturing, automotive, heavy machinery, or similar industries
- Proven track record in driving sales growth.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM tools (preferred).
- Ability to travel (including by public transportation) and lift up to 40 pounds.
