Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient assembly line workflow.
- Fabricate parts as needed to complete assemblies, ensuring accuracy in measurements and cuts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to assembly tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
