Food Service Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a quick service fast food restaurant setting. This role involves providing excellent customer service, efficiently handling transactions, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process payments.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Assist in kitchen duties as needed, including food preparation and stocking supplies.
• Help resolve customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
• Proficient math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
