Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our finished product meets the highest quality standards through inspection and testing processes. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, communicate well with all levels of the team - from production staff to management, and have the ability to recognize standards that do not meet company expectations. You also need to have the ability to learn, and help enhance, company processes to show a reduction of rework and warranty claims. A minimum of two years working in the trailer manufacturing industry with a good understanding of quality structure and performance management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of trailers throughout the assembly line, as well as on finished trailers to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Compares work orders against the finished product to ensure it meets company standards and expectations
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Understanding established quality processes and protocols and ensure they are being followed.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate solutions that address quality issues effectively.
- Document findings and prepare reports on quality metrics for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
