What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Project Coordinator position at Nitsch Engineering?
How does a sign-on bonus of (minimum) $2,500 sound to you? We are looking for a Survey Project Coordinator to join our Land Surveying Department in one of our three Massachusetts offices in Boston, Lawrence, or Worcester!
Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects using research gathered in the field and drafting and initial QA/QC as directed by the project managers.
- Engage with client on project requirements.
- Provide daily direction, train, assist and mentor CAD technicians work on survey projects.
- Review production, quality, and compliance to assure alignment with company standards. Assist in revising standards if requested.
- Review procedures of all employees under your supervision.
- Assist Project Managers in ensuring deliverables meet schedule deadlines within the budget.
- Perform boundary research, produce a property line determination, and review with the Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
- Provide progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling survey personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Land Surveying.
- Strong experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
