Nighttime Store Associate Position
We are seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to fill positions at our Nittany MinitMart locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers, offer assistance, make change, and thank them for their business.
- Suggestively sell merchandise within the store.
- Fulfill customer requests with a 100% guarantee.
- Fast Food Operations (Deli Locations):
- Prepare sandwiches, hoagies, and salads according to recipe.
- Prepare hot food items from the roller grill and steam table according to recipe.
- Fulfill special customer requests.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate the cash register.
- Operate money order machines, video computers, lottery machines, and equipment related to gasoline sales.
- Operate deli and fast food equipment.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping:
- Sweep and mop floors inside the store and parking lot daily.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment.
- Clean and face shelves, coolers, displays, and counter areas.
- Empty garbage cans inside and outside the store.
- Clean doors, windows, restrooms, and eating area daily.
- Stocking and Pricing:
- Stock shelves, coolers, displays, supplies, deli items, and cigarettes, which may involve lifting objects weighing 10 lbs. or more frequently.
- Pricing of all retail items in the store.
- Face all shelves at least once per shift.
