About this opportunity :
The Manufacturing Materials Support Specialist serves as a liaison between the manufacturing team and the materials management team to assure all manufacturing related activities and expectations are communicated to manufacturing resources management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the implementation of assigned procedures working within defined schedules and in accordance with cGMP.
- Performs cycle counts on all items when due and as assigned
- Assist the department with inventory control needs
- Responsible for inventory obsolescence
- Maintains manufacturing material inventory area in a neat, orderly fashion according to regulatory and company requirements
- Receive and maintains all raw materials in manufacturing
- Measure, monitor, and report key quality performance indicators to the production staff.
- Identify areas of deficiency and or improvement and implement appropriate corrective action followed by monitoring of key performance data to determine effectiveness.
- Perform routine auditing of manufacturing systems.
- Work closely with area supervisors to assure operations are performed in full compliance with prescribed procedures.
