Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in Claims processing, 834 files, and benefit enrollment systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and integrating systems that handle complex benefit management processes, specifically within the context of health insurance, employee benefits, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Processing: Develop and maintain claims management systems, including the ability to handle and process claims data efficiently.
834 File Processing: Expertise in handling HIPAA 834 files for benefit enrollment and maintenance, ensuring data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
Benefit Enrollment Systems: Design, implement, and support benefit enrollment systems, working with both employee and employer-side data processing.
Maintenance File Handling: Develop and maintain systems to handle routine file exchanges and maintenance, including terminations, updates, and new enrollment data.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API development.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with 834 file formats, including processing, parsing, and validation.
Experience in Claims systems development, with knowledge of processing workflows, claim adjudication, and reporting.
Familiarity with benefit enrollment processes, including system integration with carriers and benefits providers.
Experience working with data formats like XML, EDI, CSV, and knowledge of data transformation techniques.
Familiarity with databases (SQL Server preferred) and working knowledge of SQL for queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of industry standards, including HIPAA and ACA compliance.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with healthcare systems or employee benefits software.
Experience with automated file transmission and integration with external systems.
Understanding of encryption, security, and compliance standards related to sensitive data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 years of experience working with .NET technologies in a claim, benefit enrollment, or healthcare-related environment
