Job Title: AI/ML Engineer Work Location: Cupertino, CA ONSITE Client: Infosys

Job Type: Contract

Mandatory Skills:

* Data Analysis Tools: pandas, NumPy
* Modeling & ML Tools: scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, bert, transformer, etc.
* Deep Learning: PyTorch (hands-on exposure)
* Dev & Infra: Git, Docker (optional to list if relevant), basic cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) if applicable
* Language: Python (primary) - clean, modular coding style, experienced in both prototyping and production deployment

Job Details:
1. Statistics & Mathematics: probability, linear algebra, and optimization-core to understanding and debugging ML models.
2. Machine Learning: classical ML algorithms, including decision trees, ensemble methods (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM), and model evaluation techniques.
3. Deep Learning (only need high-Level understanding): Familiar with key DL architectures sequence models (RNNs, LSTMs) and transformer-based models; understand how attention mechanisms and positional encoding work conceptually.
4. Software Engineering: Solid software development background with some experience in system design; able to contribute to production-grade ML systems with scalability and maintainability in mind
