Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 10 years of expertise in database development and management within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries. The role requires collaboration with business analysts, application developers, and database administrators to ensure optimal database performance and support banking applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and scripts.
- Develop and maintain high-performance database solutions for banking applications.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with banking regulations.
- Optimize database queries and indexes for improved performance.
- Implement PL/SQL best practices to enhance scalability and maintainability.
- Work closely with business analysts and application developers to translate business requirements into efficient database solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of database issues.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and transformation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
- Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain and update database documentation, technical designs, and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, packages, and functions.
- Experience in query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Database architecture, partitions, materialized views, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of banking domain concepts, financial transactions, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ETL tools and data migration strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Advanced Queuing, Bulk Processing, and Exception Handling.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation for database jobs.
- Strong knowledge of data security, encryption, and access control policies.
- Experience in working with large-scale databases and high-volume transactions.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadline
