Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in quick service restaurants or cafés, and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role involves both serving customers and managing cash register operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Prepare food items as needed, following safety and hygiene standards.
• Operate the cash register, processing payments quickly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cash register station.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant, grocery store, or café is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices is desirable.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
