About the Job :
Title of the Position : Utility Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Utility Operator to join our team at Nivagen. In this key role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our boiler systems, Chiller System and Hot Water Generation systems ensuring they function safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position is pivotal in minimizing downtime and supporting our manufacturing operations' overall productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain boilers, hot water generators and chiller system observing all safety procedures and regulations.
- Monitor boiler equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and necessary maintenance.
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on boiler systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Record and maintain daily logs on boiler operations, maintenance, and safety activities.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to implement repairs and improvements.
- Adhere to all environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
- Train and mentor junior staff on boiler operation and safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain chilled water systems Trane make of 300 TR capacity
- Perform compression and safety tests
- Water sampling and treatment
- Preventative maintenance of water and boiler room equipment's
