About the Role
As a Business Process Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, recommend solutions, and support implementation through data analysis, process modeling, and performance monitoring.
This role will report to the Head of Fulfillment and collaborate very closely with operations managers across all of our fulfillment locations. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment, understands and interprets customer needs, and is eager to join our gritty, fast-paced team to deliver unmatched service to our customers. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a passion for documenting / analyzing / optimizing processes and implementing solutions in a fast paced operations / e-commerce environment. What You'll Do :
Process Analysis & Improvement
Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Develop process maps, workflows, and models of end-to-end fulfillment processes, from order intake to last mile delivery.
Conduct gap analysis to assess current vs. future state processes.
Recommend process changes, automation, and optimization strategies based on best practices and business needs.
Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and streamline operations using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, objectives, and pain points.
Document business processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in defining and documenting system requirements for technology solutions.
Project Management :
Oversee process improvement projects from inception to implementation, including launching of new fulfillment hubs.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on goals and timelines.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, operations, and HR to align business processes with company objectives.
Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams for system implementations.
Develop training materials and educate staff on new processes and systems.
Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during process updates.
Technology & Automation Support
Identify opportunities for automation and work with tech and product teams to implement digital solutions.
Assist in testing and validating system changes related to business processes.
Evaluate and recommend tools or software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Partner with tech and product teams to optimize systems for inventory management, order processing, and logistics.
What You'll Need :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in business process analysis, business transformation, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of process mapping techniques and business process modeling tools.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (certifications are a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytical tools.
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, BPM tools, or workflow automation platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
