Flexographic Press Operator/ Printing Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color management, quality control processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate flexographic printing presses to ensure optimal performance and high-quality output.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain consistent quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, materials used, and any discrepancies.
• Assist in fabricating printing plates and preparing inks according to job specifications.
• Collaborate with the graphic design team to understand layout designs and color requirements.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the printing process to identify and resolve issues.
• Operate tools such as forklifts for material handling and movement within the production area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes and color management techniques.
• Experience with CNC machining is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Experience operating tools such as forklifts for material handling is preferred.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.50 per hour
