Job Summary:
The Customer Service & Parts Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in supporting our customers by providing exceptional service, managing parts orders, and driving inside sales for CNC machinery parts and accessories. This position requires a strong customer-focused mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Provide technical support and guidance on CNC machinery parts and accessories.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system.
Parts Sales:
- Identify and recommend parts and accessories based on customer needs and machine specifications.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to track and fulfill orders.
- Follow up with customers to confirm order satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
Inside Sales Support:
- Generate quotes and proposals for parts and accessories.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Assist the sales team with lead generation and follow-up activities.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNC machinery parts, accessories, and industry trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to replenish stock.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and order status.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related field.
- Knowledge of CNC machinery, parts, and accessories is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment during the initial training period to gain hands-on familiarity with CNC machine parts and components.
- Experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry preferred.
- Technical knowledge of CNC machines and their components preferred.
