NVOCC Import Customer Relations Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented NVOCC Ocean Import Customer Relations Specialist to join a leading freight forwarding and supply chain company, recognized as the #1 NVOCC in the industry. Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end international trade operations, with a strong emphasis on last-mile services.
• Collaborate with global logistics partners to facilitate seamless international shipments.
• Assist clients in navigating the complexities of international trade regulations and processes.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, trucking companies, and customers to provide tailored freight solutions and a superior customer service experience.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation.
• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure accuracy and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in NVOCC Import operations and/or customer service.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Advanced problem-solving abilities with a focus on logistical challenges.
• A proactive mindset and commitment to exceeding client expectations.
• Willingness to challenge conventional approaches when necessary to achieve better outcomes.
• Professional email etiquette and a track record of timely follow-ups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
