Reports To: VP of Operations

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee operations for our Rockport Structural Fabrication division, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while driving business growth.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
Safety
- Uphold all company safety requirements and hold team members accountable while maintaining a safe working environment
Quality
- Work directly with the Operations Excellence Manager to uphold all company quality requirements
- Document quality issues with reason and track warranty/rework
Production Management
- Prepare for and attend project kickoff meetings
- Work closely with the Project Manager(s) and Shop Foreman to communicate the production plan and deadlines
- Conduct daily debrief meeting with the Shop Foreman
- Ensure job specific deadlines are met
General Management
- Provide a sense of urgency throughout the division
- Leverage existing and future relationships to bring new business opportunities to NIX
- Review and approve (non-billable) purchase orders for items such as maintenance, tools, etc.
- Full divisional P&L responsibility
- Overall authority of division (approximately 20 people)
- Administer regular performance evaluations and oversee team member PTO
- Continual improvement coaching/training with team members
- Provide input and assistance for new position recruiting needs
- Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members
- Participate in any necessary disciplinary action or terminations needs
- Contribute to our team environment by anticipating the needs of co-workers, bringing a positive attitude into our culture and showing an eagerness to discover and share new opportunities for our organization
