The supervisor partners with production management to optimize workflow through the plant and fosters a positive work environment by encouraging team effort and supportive attitudes between workers.

Essential Functions:
• Leadership and Teamwork: Use encouragement and coaching to lead the team to consistently hit goals.
• Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team and demonstrate interest, skill, and success in getting groups to learn to work together.
• Training and Development: Experience with successfully training associates on essential job functions.
• Approachability and Rapport Building: Approachable and easy to talk with, builds rapport, and develops strong team comradery and belonging.
• Reading and Comprehension: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participates and supports continuous improvement initiatives, your job is to improve every day.
• Safety Awareness: Promotes safety awareness by demonstrating all safety standards, ensuring compliance, and escalating concerns to production management as needed.
• Plant Flow and Operations: Understands the plant flow and operates machines on the production line to substitute for absentee associates.
• Housekeeping Standards: Ensures that general housekeeping standards are met prior to shift changes.
• Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of related experience or training.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
