Our Global Finance Practice Group is seeking to hire a resident attorney. Location is flexible. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in corporate, real estate, or commercial finance, securities, municipal finance, securitization, structured finance, or a combination of one or more of those areas.

Through our Resident Attorney program, we provide an opportunity for candidates with less traditional backgrounds to develop their legal skills by gaining meaningful work experience at NP. Resident attorneys complete a 12-month apprenticeship with a heavy emphasis on training, education, and mentorship. After their first year in the program, resident attorneys may choose to renew their participation for another 6 months to a year, join our attorney ranks, or pursue other opportunities outside of NP.

Nixon Peabody's Corporate Trust Team is involved in some of the most innovative financial and securities transactions, and some of the most publicized litigation and bankruptcies, in the securitization and bond markets. Our core team knows this business inside out, with a full support team of litigation, bankruptcy, securities and tax attorneys who are experienced in corporate trust, finance and securitization.
