Our Environmental practice is seeking to hire an associate to join one of our offices, preferable in California (Los Angeles or San Francisco) or New York (Albany, Rochester, Long Island or New York City). Candidates in Chicago and Washington, D.C. will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of in-depth experience in environmental law and preferable to have science, engineering or urban planning experience. Experience with the investigation, remediation, or litigation of contaminated property, with the CERCLA/RCRA litigation process and/or knowledge regarding environmental risk transfer is a plus, as well as energy or regulatory law. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with stellar academic credentials, superb judgement and communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.
