Testing Psychologist/Psychological Associate
Job Summary
Nixon Psychological Institute is seeking Licensed Testing Psychologists/Psychological Associates for our in-office practice in Chino, CA. The practice is seeking experienced clinicians to provide psychological testing/evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will be experienced in testing which will be their primary modality and can provide therapy, if needed. The position will be an in-person position for psychological testing, and option for telehealth for therapy clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological testing, report writing, and feedback sessions (based on competency and training).
- Conduct individual, family, group, and couples therapy sessions (based on competency and training).
- Conduct intake sessions, case plans, and treatment planning for clients.
- Manage the client’s treatment plan.
- Complete documentation in accordance with state licensing regulations regarding each client seen by the therapist.
- Attend weekly staff meetings to maintain professional development and professional growth opportunities.
- Complete required training on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain an active license in good standing.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times when interacting with clients, colleagues, and other staff members.
Education: Doctorate in Psychology (completed or in process) from an independent school or university required.
Additional education: One or more years of experience as a licensed psychotherapist preferred; Experience working with children and adolescents preferred; Experience working with families preferred; Experience supervising mental health providers preferred; Knowledge of child welfare laws preferred but not required; Knowledge of community resources preferred but not required.
Experience: Experience with children, adolescents, adults, families, or couples is preferred but not required
Licensure: Active licensure with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the California Board of Psychology, as appropriate.
