What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Talent ID Director position at NJ/NJ Gotham FC?
NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ.
The Role:
The Regional Talent ID Director will manage the Gotham FC Alliance operations through programing
of all Alliance events while maintaining strong relationships with all youth club leaders. This position
will also be responsible for maintaining our youth talent database through collaboration with the
scouting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of day-to-day Alliance operations
- Oversee and manage all events, staff and partner club communication
- Maintain budgets for Gotham FC Alliance needs
- Manage and operate Centers of Excellence (COE) program and Talent ID Showcase
- Maintain good standing with NWSL, USSF, and other national team federations
- Assist on vision and planning of future youth academy launch
- Assist with Gotham FC 2nd team technical support
- Manage youth talent invitations into 2nd team training environment
- Oversee management of U18 player and family communication
- Administrative:
- Be the main point of contact for all Alliance partner clubs
- Act as liaison between front office and players on specific Alliance events
- Maintain talent ID database
- Maintain all records and coding for all Alliance expenses
- Monthly and end-of-year reporting on all Alliance programing
- Alliance, COE and ID Showcase:
- Manage Alliance event calendar
- Communicate and schedule COE events with clubs in each region
- Plan, deliver and debrief COE sessions
- Deliver Gotham FC methodology in-services at COE sessions
- Collaborate with Scouting on showcase player selection
- Manage showcase event invitations and attendance for all staff and players
- General Operations:
- Assume care and upkeep of all Alliance gear and equipment
- Maintain records and needs list for future Alliance purchase orders
- Collaborate with Director of Pro Player Pathway on future growth of Alliance programing, satellite clubs and international relationships

Capability & Other Characteristics:
- Ability to work non-traditional hours
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Location:
This position is fully in-person, based at Gotham FC’s soccer operations office and practice facility, located in Whippany, New Jersey. Ability to attend all home games, all away games, and any mandatory events as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team’s business operations office in Jersey City, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility and Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 annually
