Information Technology Fellowship
New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) located in downtown Newark, NJ, is the country’s most diverse performing arts center, and the artistic, cultural, educational and civic center of New Jersey — where great performances and events enhance and transform lives every day. We are currently hiring for our Fellows Program. The Information Technology (IT) fellow supports NJPAC’s Salesforce team by helping analyze, design and optimize the system. The fellow will gain hands-on experience in Tableau and SQL, and will have the opportunity to develop project management skills, analytic and report-building skills, experience in requirements gathering and other technical know-how. The IT fellow will develop a deep understanding of the important role of data analysts and will gain tools to pursue such roles in the future.

Schedule
This is an eight-week summer fellowship running June 9 to August 1, 2025.
Must be available Tuesday mornings; additional days and times to be discussed with the supervisor
20 hours per week
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal departments to identify pain points within Tableau and suggest potential solutions
Participate in the evaluation, scope and build out of new reporting projects
Tackle bugs and reporting issues in software and applications
Seek out ways to utilize Tableau to improve processes and productivity
Support data report by using data cleansing tools
Minimum Qualifications
Open to rising college juniors, seniors, post-college graduates or graduate students
Must have experience with Salesforce (paid, unpaid or extensive Trailhead experience is acceptable)
Self motivation and ability to prioritize tasks and work independently on projects and assignments
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly with regards to interfacing with non-technical business functions
Preferred Qualifications
Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems or related degrees preferred
Experience implementing technical projects
3.2 GPA or higher
