Position Summary : NJPAC Teaching Artists are professional artists and educators who teach a variety of arts disciplines in various environments across the state of New Jersey. Our programs are offered virtually, on-site and to schools, community centers and childcare centers throughout New Jersey. All TAs are paid for ongoing training opportunities as well as all meeting and planning time. NJPAC Teaching Artists are on-call employees. Work fluctuates based on season, sales and TA availability.
Pay Rates :
- Facilitation : $50-$80 / hr
- Meetings and Training : $28.35 / hr
- Documentation : $13 / hr
We are currently prioritizing the following opportunities :
Dance : Musical Theater choreographers, Creative Movement
Hip Hop : Emcee’ing, Beatboxing, DJ’ing, Music Production, Graffiti, Dance
Music : Recorder, Beginning Band
Professional Development Facilitators : All Artistic Disciplines

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but we will only conduct interviews three times a year in an effort to provide cohort training within the first month of on-boarding.
