Medical Director Interventional Pain Management Physician
We seek a skilled and dedicated Pain Management Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess patients with acute and chronic pain, developing comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate medication management, therapeutic injections, and coordination with physical therapists and other specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with complex pain conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and other pain-relieving interventions.
- Prescribe medications and modify dosages as needed while monitoring for side effects.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to integrate pain treatment with overall patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies and preventive care.
- Maintain thorough patient records and provide updates during multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Stay current with advancements in pain management and related medical fields.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Valid state medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in Pain Management.
- Strong clinical skills with a background in anesthesiology or physical medicine and rehabilitation preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient care and medical ethics.
- Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSK)
